Designed to sit somewhere between the iconic Endura 4 and Delica 4 Lightweights, the Endela proudly offers all the highly refined and time-tested features of both in an “in-between” format. Its flat-bottomed blade is crafted from K390 stainless steel and the Bi-Directional Textured™ handle is also injection molded in the signature blue color reserved for this family of high-performance cutting tools.
Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 MICROCLEAN® is a state-of-the-art cold work tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its blend of advanced alloys has been specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, shearing and punching operations. Despite its toughness, its exceptionally fine and homogeneous microstructure also makes it easily workable and easy to heat treat. Collectively, these qualities make K390 an outstanding blade material for true steel connoisseurs.
